March is almost over and I am back with another review/unboxing! I've recently been released from the clutches of college so I thought I'd make a blog post in celebration lol. Today's review/unboxing is probably one of my most special ones since it is of a very rare collectible. I got extremely lucky and purchased this from a photocard forum / Instagram seller...
BTS "Now" Photobook Series [Now in Thailand | Now 2 Europe & America Review/Unboxing]
bts 12:48 AMHi guys~ Hope you've been doing well. Today I will be reviewing and unboxing BTS's two photobooks from the "Now" series. I received the Now 2 photobook a little over a month ago while I purchased my copy of Now in Thailand about almost a year ago in September 2014.
The two photobooks are relatively about the same thickness and size, the only difference being Now 2 is hardcover. There were two versions released for Now 2, a Korean and a Japanese version.
BTS official shop held a special preorder event where if a photobook was purchased within about the first hour of February 16th, (it was around 8-ish pm for me) you'd receive a limited edition photoset.
Similarly, if an ARMY purchased Now in Thailand photobook during Muster, they were given special photocards not available elsewhere. Sadly, Now in Thailand has been out of print for a bit now. When I bought my own copy, I believe it was either a small reprint or it was left over stock. It sold out very shortly (again) afterwards though.
This is 1 out of 3 possible big photo postcard versions you receive in the Japanese version only of the photobook. Obviously mine was preordered through their official shop, it was a Korean version. I got my hands on this version through Yahoo Japan Auctions. The photo is from their trip in LA, America. The other two versions were photos from Stockholm, Sweden and Sao Paulo, Brazil respectively. I like this version the best so I only bought this one.
Personally, I think that BTS puts out one of the best merchandise selections in Kpop, ranging from high quality albums, plushies, to breathtakingly beautiful photobooks. I'm actually a photobook lover and I enjoy the photobook version of everything more than anything so I really treasure these two precious photobooks. Now 2 is actually still available for purchase on their official shop and other Kpop merchandise websites so I really encourage you guys to invest in one before they join the rare merchandise bandwagon. The special photoset that came with Now 2 official shop preorder period are no longer available, obviously and very sadly enough. They current prices for them are already well over high $70 through almost $100 on the market from secondhand sellers. The miserable battle continues and the cycle repeats itself. Thank you very much for sticking it through the very end of the post and I hope you enjoyed today's review/unboxing! See you guys in my next post! (^-:

It's really beyond me to be sitting here, writing up this post at long last. Honestly I never really thought of actually devoting my time and effort into collecting something like this aside from my Infinite collection. When I first got into Bangtan (a mixture of curiosity and karma) back in September 11th, 2014, I didn't think I'd come this far with my...
Hey guys! Been a couple of weeks since my last blog post hasn't it? Today I'm back with something a little different: a haul. I've been trying to finish up my Bangtan and Jin collections for the past couple of months. This little haul includes some rare items and Japan exclusive items. I was so excited to receive this package when I woke...
